When planting carrots, here are some helpful tips to be very successful!
Start by taking a pencil to poke your holes. You want to plant your seeds 1/4 inch deep, and 2 inches apart. This can be difficult, but try your best. This helps keep your carrots evenly separated. (Buying your seeds in bulk helps ensure that your seeds are newer and has a higher chance to germinate.)
Once your seeds are planted water lightly.
Find a thin board, or a gunny sack and place on top of the row of carrots. This helps the ground stay damp, which will provide a softer ground for the carrots to break through.
Water your carrots once a week. If they get wet through the board or sack, leave it on, if not, take if off to water then place it back on.
Leave the board or gunny sack on for about 2-3 weeks. Your carrots will have started to grow by then.

Time to start your garden!

It's time again to start planting your garden.
